How to Use Goat Tape CrossFit
Pay close attention to the areas on your hands or fingers that often rip when you’re lifting weights. Then apply some tape to that area, starting a bit below and going to slightly higher than that area. Apply tape before you start to work out because it can be more difficult to apply when the area is sweaty.
Depending on the area, you may want to get a workout partner to help you out with this. You should find that it’s easy to rip pieces off the roll due to the serrated edges.
To take it off, the company recommends peeling it off in a hot shower. You may still find it a little bit difficult to do though, and unfortunately we don’t have any tips for you besides shaving the area where you plan to put the tape. Can I Use Goat Tape for Rope Climbs?
Rope climbing is often a big part of a CrossFit workout and you’ll certainly see this exercise at the CrossFit Games. Technique is a huge factor on how well you do at this, and having good technique can certainly alleviate your shins and hands getting torn up.
